What does Merivant do?
We build the task that eats your week. You tell us the repetitive job costing you the most time, and we build something that does it for you. Working, in a week. We are not a strategy firm and we do not sell advice, roadmaps, or assessments.
Is it really free?
The first one is. You name the task, we build a working version in a week, and you keep it whether or not you ever pay us a penny. Nothing expires, there is no trial to cancel, and we do not hold it hostage.
Then why would you do that?
Because we need real problems, not imaginary ones. What we build gets better by meeting work that actually exists, with all the mess that comes with it. And if the first one saves you the hours, you will usually want the next one built too. That is the whole business model, and it only works if we are useful to you first.
What happens at the end of the week?
You get the thing we built, a conversation about how it went and what it did or did not solve, and a quote for whatever you want built next. You keep the first one either way, including if you decide not to carry on.
What does the work after that cost?
It is quoted per build, once we know what the task is. There is no rate card and no retainer, because the number depends entirely on what the thing turns out to be. You will have it in writing before anyone starts.
What counts as a task?
Anything repetitive and manual that comes round on a schedule. Putting the same information into a template over and over. Retyping data between two systems that refuse to talk to each other. A report somebody assembles by hand every week. Chasing people for documents or signatures. If you have ever looked at something and thought there must be a way to automate this, that is the one.
Who actually does the work?
Bryant Herrman, the founder, builds it himself. No junior analysts, no project managers relaying messages, no handoffs.
What if my task cannot be automated?
We will tell you quickly, rather than spend a week of your time finding out. A fast no is more useful to you than a polite maybe, and it costs you nothing to ask.
Who do you work with?
Small and mid-size organisations carrying real operational load without an IT team of their own: recruiting and staffing firms, professional services, clinics and practices, and nonprofits. The common thread is people doing repetitive work by hand because nobody has had time to fix it.
When are you the wrong call?
If you want a new website, an application built from nothing, or somebody to advise you on strategy. We will say so straight away rather than take the meeting.
How many of these can you run at once?
Three. When they are full they are full, and we would rather tell you that than keep you waiting quietly.
How do you handle our data?
We work under NDA from the start and design so sensitive values stay inside your environment. Bryant spent nineteen years governing platforms in healthcare, ending as the director responsible for the systems 275,000 people used daily under HIPAA, so data boundaries and human oversight are a design constraint here rather than an afterthought.
Do you have vendor partnerships or platform affiliations?
None. No partnerships, referral fees, or reseller agreements. If the right answer is a better-configured tool you already own rather than something new, that is what we will tell you.
